Summer is Coming, Get Your Body Ready!

With summer around the corner, it’s time to get your bikini body ready! You might have already planned to work out, make diet changes, and switch up your skincare routines when summer arrives. But why not do it right now so you can avoid committing skincare mistakes, tone up your body and be ready to hit the beach as soon as possible? And below are our 6 tips to help you get your body summer ready in a month.

1. Eat more fruits and veggies

Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet to detox your body, improve your health and keep your weight under control. Fruits and vegetables are not only super versatile but also packed with vitamins and minerals. Therefore, you can use them in your meals or make some juice/smoothies every day. You can start to make a recipe list so whenever you need to alleviate your hunger, they will be ready to help you with it. Eating/drinking them on a daily basis will improve your skin health, hair health, mental and physical health, and burn excess calories.

2. Exfoliate your skin twice a week

Skin care is one of the most important things to do if you want to turn heads this summer. To remove dead skin cells for your silky skin, you should exfoliate your skin twice a week. Don’t overlook your elbows, knees and soles because they are normally drier no matter what season we are in. However, don’t do it more than twice a week as you might get skin irritations. And if your skin is sensitive, you should do it once a week only and use a mild scrub instead.

3. Moisturize your body from the inside and out

If it’s not hot, it’s not summer! And under the Sun, you will need to drink more water than normal. Your skin will take a toll from dehydration if you don’t provide enough water for your body. If you don’t drink enough, your skin will look unhealthy and acne and saggy skin will have a chance to show up. Try to develop a habit of drinking 6-8 glasses of water every single day and avoid coffee, black tea, soda and other sugary drinks as much as possible. Also, you can get a good moisturiser to make sure your body is hydrated and your skin glows. A high-quality moisturizer will help protect your skin from UV rays as well as prevent premature aging. Look for moisturizer with at least SPF 30.

4. Move your body

Apart from those diets and skin care, you also need to constantly and regularly work out. You can’t tone up your body without an effective workout routine and serious efforts. Workout is the best way to lose weight, relieve stress, fight fatigue and anxiety. There are lots of exercises you can take up such as walking, jogging, running, swimming, or yoga. Spend at least 30 minutes in the morning and 40 minutes in the evening to work out and your body will be ready soon to wow people.

5. Choose your perfect hair removal method

Hair removal is such a headache to women every time summer approaches. Laser hair removal sounds good but it takes up to a few weeks to restore after several sessions. However, there are many other types of methods you can check out like waxing, shaving, threading, plucking, sugaring and many more. Choose one that you works the best for you so you don’t have to be worried about possible embarrassing moments.

6. Get rid of cellulite

Cellulite will never go away, but they can become less visible. And there are many ways you can make it happen. A simple and cheap way you can try is to do coffee scrubs twice a week. All you need is just the coffee ground and massage your cellulite areas with it for 3-5 minutes, rinse it off and apply coconut oil to them. It’s cheap, easy, messy but effective.

You can also add some foods into your diet to prevent or fight cellulite. Chili and cayenne peppers, green tea, salmon, olive oil, dark berries, dark chocolate and apple cider vinegar will be great help. Also, you need to minimize the intake of fried foods, salty and sugary snacks, and limit your alcohol consumption.

After months staying in, summer is what we all are looking for. Make this summer unforgettable by reconsidering your meal plan, making a list of exercises you are going to do each day and taking care of your body on a daily basis from now on!
